Thanks for posting that.
I hope your niece is in the position one day to give her finger to the WTS.

i always wondered about him, but it's official.
a public statement about he being a jw was made.. he is also involved in providing some help to a charity work, by providing his help at three concerts in chicago.
the "rebuilding the dream", organization, that is non political.. i wish him and them all the best as they try and help those that have been adversely affect in this recession..
I saw this today.
He looked like an idiot. Speaks like one too. No wonder he doesn't give many interviews - he's terrible at them.
He's past his heyday.
Yeah, funny how most Muslims are everyday people like you and I.
IMO no Muslims of any ilk or variety should be allowed to immigrate into any other country but their own
What about Muslims that are born in Australia, England or any other Christian country? Do they have to be shipped out to a foreign country?
What about converts to Islam? What country should Cat Stevens (can't remember his new name) move to?
What about Muslims who come to our countries as asylum seekers?
Not all muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are Muslims.
I have no problem with them living here as long as they understand and obey the laws, which are required of ALL Australians.
'a national nuisance': the banning of jehovah's witnesses in australia in 1941.. .

bangalore.
My mother and grandmother were JWs during WW2 and I heard alot about "the ban" in 1943, including the local JW radio station which was rumoured to be sending signals to the enemy (Japan).
i dont remember the date.
or the year or if it was a district or circuit.
what i do remember is that we rode up with a car full of other female witnesses.
It was a DC, I was already mentally out.
I didn't sing nor did I clap. I remember one speaker saying something like "isn't it wonderful to be in Jehovah's brotherhood?" or some crap like that and I just sat there. I refused to clap for something I didn't believe in. The sister who was sitting next to me looked at me but I just looked ahead. I wasn't clapping. What are you going to do to me?
hi folks.
just taking a quick break from packing, and thought i'd pop in and say hey.
today i had a memory from field service pop up and i'd like to share it.. .
Woke up on the wrong side of the bed today, eh Steve2?
i never was a jehovahs witness.
its been stated.
so if i went up to a local congregation and knocked on the door how would i get to talk to an elder about my mother in law.... i have no interest in being a witness.
Won't your wife receive an inheritance from her mother when the mother dies?
If she does, then consider the money you've paid for the mortgage to be an investment in something you'll get back eventually anyway.
No one forced you to help out your MIL. You helped her out, good for you. That's what families are for.
Get on with your life and stop acting like a little sissy.
((((((Dyfii))))))
You sound like a beautiful and sensitive young person.
I hope you gain the strength to be yourself, your true self. Your family may not understand, but you need to find people who will accept you as you are.
